Cray is the first born child of
a twice recognized pair. His young life was happy, structured, and for the most part carefree within the
loving care of the tribe. He grew into his adulthood and took his place among the adults as a Fisher
long before the premature arrival of his younger sister.
Sunbreak was infected by a poisonous bite, causing her labor to be just slightly premature. Cray's sister was born just as Sunbreak expired, and through his grief, Bluesand managed to raise the pip to an age where both could take care of themselves. He went out a few suns later with a group of fishers but his was a doomed mission. Bluesand lost his balance and fell into the sea, but no record of him was ever found. It was assumed that he had been snatched up by a passing shark. So, the siblings went along their merry way, growing up as typical siblings do. |
