These are the rules of the list. They aren't really negotiable because we want to keep a nice friendly list where people want to come and have fun!
  1. You may not RP until your Character has been approved.
      To have a character approved for play you must fill out a complete CIS.
  2. No more than 3 characters per member. When adding a second it must be of the opposite gender of the first. This keeps the balance consistent.
      They can't all be magic users, we want to give everyone a chance to be special so one magic user per player. If you're willing to play all males and we're short of males you can get special approval. Why? Because it seems no one wants to play male characters.
  3. Your characters may not be lifemates or lovemates.
      Why you ask.. Because we want to encourage you to RP with others.
  4. No cliques! RP with everyone, even if your character would have nothing to do with that other character you can RP that!
  5. Please keep any explicit material labeled {Adult} and keep those types of roleplayed scenes to a minimum. If that's all you're here for you're in the wrong place.
      There may be persons under the age of 18, plus I don't want to be reading a scene that would make me blush.
  6. Any change in a storyline title should remain for more than 3 posts. It's hard to archive RP when you can't follow the thread.
           Example: Story line 'On the beach', changing to 'In the Caves'.
                              New story line should be 'On the beach -- In the caves' for 3 posts.
  7. Never under any circumstance may you use another member's character for any reason without their permission. They have final say.
  8. Time-Jumps happen randomly, just as Recognitions. Both will be handled by the Holtmoderators, and everyone will be notified accordingly. All CIS's will be updated so that ages stay current.
      You are warned not to expect to recognize your lifemate/lovemate. It wasn't a given in ElfQuest it isn't a given here.
  9. For OOC chat, You must use the GSH-OOC list!
  10. When posting please remember you can't alter an established timeline. We're not rewriting history here. ;)
  11. No fighting over the list, please. If you have any problem, question, argument or quibble of any kind, contact your moderators and we will try to get the problem settled, and questions answered in a timely fashion.
  12. Spelling and grammar are good tools. Use them.
  13. And always, above all else, remember to have fun!
